Helen Fowler

Helen is a seasoned psychologist with over 30 years of experience, including a Master's in Clinical Psychology. She founded HFA Psychology in 1995 and has practiced in both Perth and Canada, focusing on forensic mental health. Helen has undergone specialized training in trauma, substance use, and gambling addictions, and she has a broad spectrum of experience with children, adolescents, and adults, including those who are neurodiverse and gender diverse.

Her particular interest lies in treating trauma, especially in those affected by interpersonal violence, such as family and domestic violence. Helen's expertise also extends to providing forensic expert opinions for various court matters and offering evidence in legal settings. Additionally, she has contributed academically through lectures on addictions, criminology, personality, and risk assessment.

Beyond clinical practice, Helen is engaged in the psychological aspects of business development, offering corporate services, mediation, facilitation, and executive coaching, notably achieving certification as a Forum Facilitator for the Young Presidents Organisation.
