Jessica Moncrieff-Boyd

Jessica is a psychologist with a specialized focus on treating individuals with eating disorders. Her clinical psychology training and PhD from the University of Western Australia were complemented by research into the experience of disgust in anorexia nervosa, resulting in multiple publications and conference presentations. Prior to joining the Swan Centre, Jessica gained valuable experience during a two-year tenure at the Priory Roehampton in London, where she contributed to an inpatient eating disorders service, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support children, adolescents, and families. Earlier in her career, she worked at the University of Western Australia’s Counselling and Psychology Service. Jessica prioritizes evidence-based treatments within a safe, supportive atmosphere. She emphasizes the significance of a strong therapeutic alliance and adopts a warm, empathetic approach to foster positive changes and therapeutic outcomes for her clients.
